| No, you do not need to be a member of any Youth Hostel organisation to stay at Tierra Mendocina. |
| Reservations- Is my credit card safe? |
| Yes! The Tierra Mendocina use Verisign, the world leader in Internet security. All information is encrypted online and transferred securely direct to the hostel. |
| Reservations- Does the name on the credit card have to be the same as the name on the Reservation? |
| No. If you don't have a credit card but have been given permission to use a friend's or family member's card to book - that's ok. |
| Reservations- What happens with the 10% deposit? |
| 1. On booking you will be charged a 10% deposit, plus a $2 booking fee
2. This will not be refunded to you on arrival at the hostel and the remaining 90% is due to the hostel on your arrival
3. The 10% deposit and booking fee is strictly non refundable, as per the terms and conditions you ticked to agree to on booking.

| Reservations- How do I book online? |
| 1. Click on the link "Book Now".
2. Choose the hostel, enter dates and number of nights. Click search to check availability. If dont find availability try other dates or send us an e-mail.
3. You will see the prices and room types available. Choose your room type and number of people .
4. If the information is correct click the "Book Now" button.
5. You will now see a page displaying all the booking information. The system will now request you to complete the Booking Form. You need a valid credit card to make your booking.
6. Once you fill the form click the "Confirm" button and wait for your booking confirmation

| Reservations- Do I need to book accommodation in advance? |
| We understand how important it can be to be sure of your accommodation before you leave home. We recommend advance booking during high season (November to march and June to September). Our website enables you to book your accommodation in advance. The only way to get a secure reservation is by credit card deposit. |
| Hostels- Can I bring a dog to the hostel? |
| We love animals, so they are very welcome. But if your dog makes some mess in the room or any other place we will have to charge you. |
| Hostels- Buy an activity or bus ticket in the hostel is it expesive? |
| No. We have the same price as any other agency and many times we offer you better deals. |
| Hostels- Are trips or activities organised at hostels? |
| We work with the most important youth travel agencies in Argentina offering a range of activities - from city tours to skydive. We can also offer you bus tickets or airplane tickets everywhere. |
| Hostels- Can I do my own cooking? |
| The kitchen is yours, so you better cook something good. You also have a fridge. But if dont fill cooking we have the delivery service to the hostel. In Iguazu you can try our restaurant. |
| Hostels- Are there parking facilities nearby? |
| Yes. In Iguazu Fall & Bariloche we do have own private parking for free. In Buenos Aires guests can park in a parking located next to the hostel. |
| Hostels- At what time is the breakfast? |
| Between 8 and 10 am. |
| Hostels- What are check-in and checkout times? |
| Guests can check-in at any time of the day or night as we are open 24 hours. However, rooms are not ready until 13 hs. If you want to check-in before this time you can store your bags and stay in the commun areas until your room is ready. Check-out is 11.00 a.m. each morning. |
| Hostels- What is included in the price for a night? Which amenities? |
| Our price includes spanish lessons, breakfast, use of internet 24 hs*, all bedlinen, duvets, towels, hot showers 24 hs., complete use of well-equipped kitchen, welcoming drink in Iguazú Falls, lockers, multilingual library, direct tv & videos, pool & ping-pong tables, acces to Gutiérrez private beach in Bariloche.
*In Bariloche internet is free from 20 to 24 hs. Different hours than this ones costs $3 (pesos)

| Hostels- Is there a curfew? |
| No. Every Tierra Mendocina has reception 24 hours. |
| If I go to travel and I return to the hostel in few days, where do I leave my backpack? How much it costs? |
| We have lockers or luggage rooms where you can store your backpack for free while you are out exploring. We reccomend to keep essentials like your passport, money/credit cards, camera, and any other valuable items with you at all times. |
| Are there ways to get discounts? |
| We accept all SouthAmerica discount cards (Isic + Hostelling + Hostels of america, etc). Also special prices for groups more than 10 people and special long term stays. Please contact us for details. |
| Can I use drugs inside the hostel? |
| No. The Argentian laws does not permit the use of any drug. |
| Do I need to bring my own sheets or towels? |
| No. The Hostel-Inn gives you all you need for free. |
| Can I bring a group to hostels? |
| The Hostel-Inn welcomes groups. Ask for special prices. |
| Do age limits exist? |
| No. We are open to everyone. Under 18 they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone. |
